This morning, Salman promoted the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa in his re-election bid. The 49-year old actor voiced praises of Rajapaksa on the streets of Colombo.
His Kick costar Jacqueline Fernandez joined him for the same.
Salman and Jacqueline left Mumbai in the same flight, last night. They had been invited to participate in the election campaign by parliamentarian and Rajapaksa’s son Namal.
SpotboyE.com was the first to tell you that Salman was planning a trip to Sri Lanka which led him to cancel his mentor Sooraj Barjatyas celebration of Maine Pyaar Kiya's 25th anniversary (December 26).
Salman is slated to return to Mumbai on January 1.
